Hajar Benjida is a Moroccan-Dutch photographer and visual artist based in New York. She graduated from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht in 2019 with a BA in Photography, and her personal work takes an intimate, documentary approach. She is known for her project Atlanta Made Us Famous, in which she documents the women of the influential Atlanta strip club Magic City.
Her debut exhibition was held at Scope Art Fair during Art Basel Miami Beach in 2018, where she presented Young Thug as Paintings, created in collaboration with Young Thug. Her work has since received international recognition, including the LensCulture Emerging Talent Award (2019), Foam Talent (2021), and the BJP International Photography Award (2022). In 2022, she was named Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe in the Arts & Culture category. In 2025, she presented her first solo museum exhibition of Atlanta Made Us Famous at Foam in Amsterdam.
